On 17th March 2018 we presented the innovative concepts of SUITCEYES at the 10th Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference TYGIEL 2018 held in Lublin, Poland. Tomasz Rozwalka (Harpo) gave an invited speech entitled “Smart textiles for persons with deafblindness - exploitation of R&D results” during the opening session of this annual event for students, PhD students and young researchers from across Poland.
After a great start of the official SUITCEYES kickoff with the Symposium: From Touch to Cognition on January 17, 2018, which also included interested external parties and potential advisors (see this post), the project was also started internally by all partners of the consortium. The great beginning of our EU-funded project SUITCEYES was the Symposium: From Touch to Cognition on January 17, 2018. Jenny Johannisson, the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research at the university of Borås started the Symposium with a warm welcome and congratulated the consortium for the funding approval.
Happy New Year! With the start of 2018, also the EU-funded project SUITCEYES has officially started. In mid-January the members of the project will meet in Borås, Sweden, to get SUITCEYES off the ground. We are looking forward to start working!
