Harpo participated in SightCity Frankfurt . It is the biggest, annual exhibition for aids for the visually impaired. Together with many other manufacturers from all over the world, who present novelties and well-established products of their product range, Harpo promoted the developments of the SUITCEYES project. In 2019 135 exhibitors and about 3800 visitors were present at the fair.
SightCity International Exhibition stands for innovation and profound information concerning visual impairment. Over three days visitors had the opportunity to test various systems and products, inform each other about the latest medical findings and evaluate a large number of consulting and product offers. The specialized character of this exhibition gives visitors an opportunity for a personal contact with manufacturers, associations, consultants and doctors.
SightCity Frankfurt provides detailed information on various aspects about a large variety of aids, such as mobility aids, high-tech aids, electronic aids for daily life with focus on case of low vision, blind and deafblind persons. At SightCity not only disabled visitors, but also their guide dogs are well taken care of (e.g. bowls with water). The paths through the exhibition rooms are marked with guiding lines on the floor and a competent support makes the visit successful.
Harpo presented SUITCEYES during the whole event. It was a great opportunity to share the idea that stands behind the project, our approach and the concept of the prototype. The materials promoting SUITCEYES were distributed as well. Our booth and project leaflets were very popular among visitors. Thanks to SightCity Frankfurt 2019, we gathered more contacts and experience.
